  Civil Service Orientation Programme  A Civil Service Orientation Programme was held on 25 September 2025 at Women’s College, Thiruvananthapuram, organised by the Kerala State Civil Service Academy. The session aimed to introduce students to the UPSC Civil Services Examination and guide them on effective preparation strategies.The programme began with an introductory session by a faculty member from the Academy, who explained the three stages of the exam—Prelims, Mains and Interview—along with the syllabus, exam pattern and the need for consistent study and guidance. The second session was handled by Mr. Alfred O. A., Sub Collector, Thiruvananthapuram, who shared practical tips on preparation. He highlighted the importance of NCERTs, standard books, current affairs, time management and maintaining discipline.
