 Capacity Building Programme 


As part of the B.Ed curriculum under the paper EDU-01: Knowledge and Curriculum – Philosophical and Sociological Perspectives, the Natural Science Department organized a capacity-building programme on 03/12/2025. The session focused on Women Empowerment, highlighting the inspirational life of India’s legendary boxer Mary Kom.

The team—Sandra, Devendu, Amrutha, and Soliha—planned and prepared the presentation by collecting authentic information and photographs of Mary Kom. A concise and visually appealing PowerPoint was created to narrate her journey.During the session, Amrutha presented the motivating story of Mary Kom, covering her early life, struggles, major achievements, and her role as a symbol of courage and determination. The presentation emphasized how Mary Kom’s life embodies the true spirit of women empowerment.

The programme was impactful, informative, and inspiring. It encouraged students to believe in their potential, face challenges with confidence, and appreciate the importance of empowering women in society.
